Persevere, tinks, it's worth it. Sometimes things come up which might be uncomfortable, but it's better to face them then file them, rather than just shove them under the carpet. It WILL put you back in control again x

big things, small things, doesn't matter. Basically, if you can't handle them alone at the moment, they're big enough to need looking at.

Why so towie? Is it the counsellor? I think its not for everyone, have you discussed next steps?

Jno some things are so stupid i actually hope it isnt...but like i say i think its a few straws that broke the camels back xxx
Nice counsellor - just seem to be making endless lists of things that make me happy/sad/etc etc. I will give it a few more weeks, but do not seem to be getting anywhere. I am paying for this, but have a NHS appointment tomorrow. Will compare the two.
My psychiatrist was going to refer me for CBT but then he said to me "I don't think that we will go down that road, it will only make matters worse." I don't know how things can be worse.

Good luck tinks - talking things over always helps and if it helps you to feel less screwed up then that is brilliant.
I hope it helps us all even in a small wayx

Interesting...how worse?

The way he said about CBT i dont actually know if its for me...like "here are 5 steps (etc) to make you fell better, do this & that" not sure if that sounds for me. Same to you wolf xx

Still going to attempt hypnotherapy after this if needed, i have 6-8sessions on NHS....

Mabye be good to have both TOWIE, more intense? My hour was up so quickly i was just getting comfy! Xx
Not normally a good idea to have two at the same time

I had over 18 months of counselling and 6 months of group therapy and I still have a long way to go... its taken years for the problems to bed in.... you will not root them out in a few weeks you might not even get a major breakthrough in the first 3 months...
Hi Tinks, glad the counselling is helping you, we'll get there in the end, you can't keep a good girl down. Hugs to you xx
tinkerbell, you lovely thing

i am delighted to read that you are having councelling, and that you seem to be feeling better and enjoying it.

i can see in your words that you are on the up, and i am so very pleased for you.

you have, as has already been said, a lot of support on here, and i hope that fact also is helping you on the path.

keep going as you are, and know that we are all right behind you.

my very best to you.
