Can one have a female prostate or a male G-spot? The plain fact is that there just ARE things which are gender specific. The word 'marriage' is one such thing, given that it traditionally involves a man and a woman and not a man and a man or a woman and a woman.
Of course, as in Monty Python's Life of Brian, one might argue for a man's right to HAVE babies, even though he doesn't have a womb!
kromo.. I am oppressed when my freedom of speech is threatened. If I use marriage to mean a pair bond between male and female I am not discriminating, I am differentiating between two different occurences. It is unwarranted for some postmarxist to attack me for speaking as I wish to speak because they believe that I am discriminating against a section of the population. A postmarxist has already done this on this forum.
