hmm, could it be ingrowing hairs from your bikini line? I'm not sure where you mean exactly. If you don't already, you should try and wear cotton underwear (proper knickers, not thongs etc) and wash with a mild soap. Infact you get a special soap for 'inimate use' but anything described as mild should be fine. Obviously make sure you rinse well. If they're sore and/or don't go away in a week after trying the above then go to a GP, don't be shy, they're there to help.
It's very possible that they are just blocked hair follicles. The skin's natural oils (sebum) can build up in them and cause lots of little white pimples (bit like whiteheads on your face). As they concern you, I'd pop along to see a female doctor and rest assured she will have seen them many times before.

I posted this answer before but it's vanished, so apologies if it's duplicated.

Males get them as well, on the scrotum. I first had them when I was 18 and some were quite large, about pea size - and very embarraasing in the changing room or, in my case, the barracks. They are called sebacious (?) cysts and, as honkytonkman says, are caused by a local build-up of the skin's natural oils. Quite common, apparently. Your GP will be familiar with the condition and should provide helpful advice and treatment. Good luck,

I get them occasionally, and I went to the docs once to check them out. She said they are just like blind headed zits, and are nothing to worry about, they will come and go.
