How come there is so much half price wines about yet it is dearer than last year

its supermarket fiddle, con the punter into thinking they are getting something cheap, they up the price then say the price is slashed.
Note how, when bought separately, Tesco want £9.99 for the wines they include in their £10 meal-for-two deal. D'you think for a moment that those wines are worth paying £9.99 for? I think not.
I get a friend to bring mine back from France. Only Lidl stuff but £4.29 a bottle here - 2.39 euro there!!
