I have an IPhone and Mrs P has an Itouch. Whereas I can pick up the net wherever I am, mrs P can only use it by picking up our house broadband. Any body any ideas why and what I can do to rectify Mrs P problems?

Well,

The Iphone is a phone and can connect to mobile networks, the Ipod touch is not a phone and can't connect to mobile networks.

So to rectify it, get another iPhone rather than an iPod.
Mrs P should be able to connect to any available wifi networks if they are 'open' or she knows the password ...

... go to 'settings' 'wifi' and look for available networks

Thank you and forgive my technical stupidity :(
I didn't mean to sound quite so abrupt...

If you happen to be a BT internet customer then you probably have the ability to use any BTfon or BT openzone network you may find on the Ipod touch too. if you're not a BT customer you can purchase vouchers to use the same networks.
