A few days early, but thenMuffin didn't read the manual!
She also had the courtesy to have them during the day - although I had been worried about her and spent Sunday night sleeping (!) beside her whelping bed. However, she came and found me on Monday morning (I was in our office checking emails etc.) and indicated that she would like company. An hour later first pup arrived. Feet first, nad the head seemed to take ages so I gave her a helping hand. The rest (another 6) popped out head first.
Coming up to 24 hours old now, and they seem to be doing well. However as she is a maiden, and it's my first litter as well, we've got the vet coming out to check them all over.

The time goes so quick - mine are six months old and got their first show next week! Don't forget the calcium supplement for mum when the pups are a week or two old to prevent eclampsia.
thanks for the 'p up date' glad all is well
