Brilliant wine recommendation here:

I was in at Experience and the MD recommended me a stonker of a Portugese wine, a Quinta da Lagovala, 2010, saying "knowing your taste, you will adore this", and I do.

Stunning, the depth is remarkable, a blend of Altocheiro, Tourige Nacional and Syrah, packed full of berries and an undercurrant of almond, juicy and substantial with aeration (but none of that muskiness one gets with many southern Syrahs which I do not like, slightly astringent tannins but they even smooth out into an attractive finish.

Now where's the goat cheese, or the Pujbol or a Vacherin (but out of season)....

£9-50 and well worth it.

Thanks, DT, I shall look out for it.

I had an amazing Brazilian wine a few weeks back, but will give details another time.
