airing cupboard

on top of the oven vent next time its on
Depending how big the book is...wedged between the rad and wall.
I dropped a book in the bath once, stuck it on the radiator and it dried out fine, except for wrinkly pages.
just rememer as it dries to 'riffle' the pages now and again to prevent them sticking
bowl or tupperware box of dry rice. Place the book in the tub and in the airing cupboard.

My friend washed her sons iPod touch in his jeans on a full washing cycle. The thing was dead as a dodo when she pulled it out. Then she put it in a tub of dry rice and left it in the airing cupboard for 12hrs.... It now works absolutely fine. The rice draws out the moisture.
Wherever you put the book, stand it on its edge, with the pages as open as possible.
Replace it from ebay or Amazon

Thanks all for your answers. I could replace it but boy #2 is a bit upset that it got wet by accident. They are really good with books (don't bend spines or corners of pages, etc), just wanted to see if I could rescue it as he appreciates such gestures.
