I am being treated to a weekend in London this weekend (as I've had a 'special' birthday this week!)
We are going to see the Wizard of Oz and have booked to go on the London Eye........can anyone recommend any other interesting places to visit other than the 'usual' tourist ones?
Thank You :-)

it does get busy, but in this weather who know. Good pub, good beer, know it well.
You can add to see HMS Ocean to the itinerary now at Greenwich

SlackAlice......caught the city cruise boat up to Greenwich and had a wonder around. Very nice place! There was a huge queque for something - not sure what...perhaps it was the ship?
Markrae.....caught the tube to Blackfrairs and walked back along Thames to Tower of London!! Really nice :-)
Weather was freezing all weekend....apparently been nice up North!
Thanks everyone for your suggestions!
