With a solicitor and pay money for it. Can you change your mind? I don't mean change your will,I mean revoke it? Like it never happened?

Just write a new one, that takes precedence.
Yes
The official copy of the will is your property. Get hold of it and shred it or burn it. Job done.

I have a copy of it. The original is with the solicitor. Do I have to pa to get it back.
Given ,that they are solicitors they will probably try an administration charge. They will have to record that this happened so that nobody can accuse them of losing it 10 years from now.
think they will charge you to change it, but you can whenever you please!....
I dudnt't get charged to retrieve my husband's will but we had paid a one off secure storage fee.

Thanks for your answers. To write a new one would involve more solicitors. I think I will go with Howard, unless anyone can tell me different.

Mic and I made a joint will. Since we made it things have changed. We just want to revoke the original will.
You can get a new one done for £35.00 when you're ready.

hi, i did this only yesterday - made myself intestate by going to the sloicitors and ripping it up
It is very easy to revoke an existing will, as has been said you can have it returned to you from the solicitors holding it then destroy it, but do make it clear it was your intention to destroy the will and has not occurred accidentally.
