Do you dream about your exes?

I regularly dream about an ex partner who left me about 12 years ago which ripped me apart. I find it quite distressing that I still dream about him a lot and re-experience the pain. Last night I had a vivid dream that I went to his wedding. His parents and brothers were in it and his bride came and introduced herself . I can picture her face though it's no-one I know. In the dream I felt desperately hurt and it's been playing on my mind all day. Anyone else do this? It suggests I haven't mentally dealt with it yet.

That is nice chrissa (I do have nice dreams too!). Arwyn it seems you also have not got closure - I've said more about this break-up on this site than I've said to anyone in real life because I'm so ashamed that I was so dependent on what was actually a very unpleasant human being.

Oh no, I dream about the ex I broke up with last year almost every night. I was hoping this phase would pass. Maybe not. Gawd!

Really sqad? I believe he lives less than 10 miles from me but I have never googled, asked anyone, I couldn't face it.

I have been single for 11 years and dream of my ex on a far to regular basis. I think, unfortunately for me I never got over him leaving and in the dreams we are nearly always together.... now that's what you call sad lol.

No, I think I've featured ex-OH in a dream about twice in the past 25 years.

Dreaming about teeth falling about is said to be to do with sexual inadequacy (or so I was told....)
