I agree with bellazella. It's refreshing to see the success of an ordinary lady whose fame has arisen from recognition of genuine talent without the obligatory fake glamour. Sod the people who can offer nothing but sour grapes - or 'freakish' comments. Good for her - and good luck to her!
My thoughts on this - AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaggggggh - No way. I'm outta here
True, but those who are exploiting her will make even bigger shed loads. Never knew I could be so sentimental, must be my age.
Exploited? You've been reading too much gossip. She knows what she's doing - and she's doing okay.
Her musical/life story is on here at our Palace Theatre Southend in a few weeks, tickets are selling fast, I'll be there.

Oh noooooooooooo! How boring, can't stand her and imo she can't sing.
Absolutely lame basis for a musical, if this is true.

Isn't that true of most musicals ?
Weird that it will include the song I Dreamed A Dream which is from the musical Les Miserables which is still going in the West End
It seems to me that most of the interest in her is based on the industry's and the public's perception of what a famous person should look like, i.e. it's surprising that someone with some talent in a public arena can be an ordinary person who looks like her. I'd put this supposed musical in the same category. The entire SB phenomenon including the musical can be summed up as "woman with okay voice on talent show gets lots of attention because she doesn't look like what a famous singer should."

Personally I find her voice cold and emotionless.
Im sorry, but I dont think much to her. She has a good enough voice I suppose for karioke. But then lots of people with half decent voices seem to have made it to the the top , IMO. Good luck to her
