Hi, I have laptop and a wireless internet conn. I want to buy a printer but have a couple of questions. Once the printer is installed/connected to my pc if I unplug the printer cable from the pc, when I plug it back in will it just pick it up straight away without me doing anything else. Top and bottom of it is, I use my laptop in various places around the house and dont want it to always have the printer connected. does that make sense? any advice appreciated...thanks

shouldn't have any probs, i have front usb ports and regularly plug different cameras and scanner in and they all get picked up ok
I do this all the time without any problems.I am soon going to invest in a wireless printer server, so hopefully I can just leave my printer where it is and print wirelessly. The server is only 39 from www.Ebuyer.com.
