My wife and I are trying to have a child, but we havent been succesful yet. we have been trying for 6 months or so.

We have gone full out to do our best to succeed this month, yet my wife is a week away from her normal period and she has been getting discharge. Is this normal?

Can women have discharge whilst pregnant being close to the end of their menstrual cycle????

Any help is greatly recieved. Thank you!!

Hi pughee,

Just to say that I occasionally get a bit of discharge leading up to my period, I am not pregnant, so I assume it's normal although I am not a doctor or anything.
Good luck with getting preggers : )

Yes. it is normal. You can get discharge when you are pregnant and when your not.

Dont want to get your hopes up, but I notice a discharge more when I AM pregnant!!

Good luck

Whatever happens six months is really not very long to try. I would recommend taking your temperature each day and then it dips slightly before ovulation and then rises .. it worked for me both times. If you check back on here there was some discussion all about that a few weeks ago.
