How is everyone?

Argh it's the second night in a row I've been waiting in for a plumber to fix my broken loo. 2 hours on and after having left work early to get home for 6pm and still waiting.

So cold too! Just had to shut the window and the cats in and grudgingly put the heating on. Looks like there might be snow on the way.

Not much of a question, more of a huff. What's everyone else up to tonight?

I'm cold but too tired/lazy to go and get my dressing gown :(

Also annoyed about my phone and car have turns at breaking down.. the phone is dead just now and the cars booked in for Saturday. I'm hoping things will stop going wrong!

That's a real pain having to wait in for workmen. Hope you get it fixed soon.
It's very cold here in the Lakes this evening. I went for a walk today and my water bottle had ice in it by the time I was on my way home!!

I'm looking at the clock, totally knackered, and wondering what time I can go to bed without Mr Boo's eyebrows shooting up into his forehead as he says "you're going up to bed at what time???"

I'm just watching tv, and sort of looking through the latest posts. I'm not doing anything else. I did my cleaning and shopping today so I've given myself the rest of the day off. It's forecast to be cold tomorrow with snow on Saturday in this neck of the woods.

I've been home from work nearly 3 hours and I still can't face taking my scarf off. Hot water bottle between my knees and the large ginger invader snuggled up beside me and I'm still cold!

My water butt is frozen. I am nearly warm, it has taken all day. Cannot understand how so many draughts get through what should be nearly new double glazing. Landlady indifferent.

I think it might be time to give up on the plumber, landlord just texted to see if he'd been and is going to call him I think!

My fingers were just frozen this morning but then it's really warm in work (that's a good thing though :)). My cheeks went really sore and felt like they were burning, guessing the switch between cold and hot, felt like I was having some kind of hot flush so had to turn my radiator down!

I was like that last night Boo (though no Mr). Had to try and maintain some kind of reasonable lookingness for plumber (not that he came) but gave in at 9.15 and went to bed as couldn't keep my eyes open. Was trying to watch Hollyoaks in a squint! :) Last week in work before I transfer/promotion to a new office site so been manic getting stuff sorted first! Good but so sad to be leaving.

I took two hot water bottles to bed last night to minimise having the heating on last night. Not bad once I'm in but it's that initial getting in cold covers! I never used to feel the cold this much, maybe it's an age thing!

tired tired and more tired, waiting for hubby to get home from his mid shift feed him then go back to bed with my hot water bottle, it dropped into the minuses here last night :(

If you lived near me then my dad could come round and fix it for you. You would have to give us both a cup of tea but apart from that it would be cost only.

I am about to go to bed soon as have work in the morning. Is it true that it is to be minus 9 degrees tonight? That sounds very cold.
