Installing a digital camera

How can I install a digital camera on my PC when the makes and models presented to me do not include the make and model I want to install ?

Was there any software supplied with the camera?? If not, have a look at the manufacturer's website - they normally have a 'support' area where drivers/software can be downloaded.... good luck!

Or bear in mind that cameras (unless it's a juicy pro with firewire) are hideously slow and �15 will get you a USB2.0 flash media reader that will get images off the thing FAR faster than if you connected straight to the camera.
