Thought man utd had drawn a turkish club in thursdays footballl night on itv 4 there for a moment
If Turkey didn't keep their orphans/abandoned children in such terrible conditions there would have been no need for this documentary to have been made. By charging Sarah Ferguson over this they have drawn even more attention to their failings.
sir.andy - I wouldn't go there...
@boxtops - I have no intention of going to Turkey or SAB.
Do you need inoculations to visit SAB ?
I did venture in today for the first time....now I have a itch and rash
I went to Turkey once...what a hovel...

Does anyone honestly think the RF would allow Beatrice and Eugenie to partake in their mother's disgrace by permitting Turkey to incarcerate Fergie?
Hopkirk, it might save US a lot of money if this minor NON royal were to be prosecuted.
JD, no it wouldn't, and besides why would anyone keep children in those filthy conditions, perhaps it has more to do with them being perceived not as some backwards country, that treat it's citizen in an inhumane way good enough to join the EU, so they are kicking up a fuss now. If it had been an investigative journalist would that have more credibility, because it was Fergie she has been hauled over the coals.

Does anyone remember a story in the Sunday Times about a Greek Island where both adults and children with disabilities were held? It was like a vision of hell. The newspaper won awards for that story.
Greece was in the EU while that was going on, too.
The Turks have a curious way of dealing with stories they don't like; they shoot the messenger. It's a crime there even to mention the Armenian Genocide.

em10, feeling any better?
Sandyroe, trying to get back on my feet, seeing doctor on monday for a rerun, 5 weeks on and that's not good. Thank you for asking. To add to the problem, one of my siblings was admitted to hospital recently, so trying to stay positive isn't easy. Getting older ain't no fun
em10 just thank god you are in this country and not greece or turkey or some like country. sorry to hear about troubles and the fact that they do not seem to be getting better.
wish i could wave a magic wand for you and all others suffering unncessarily.
When Turkey gets into the EU, all its problems will cease
I don't want Turkey to join the EU, nor do i wish Britain to be part of it either, but we are in, and look set to stay.
