Mr Alba has a notion for chicken in mushroom sauce for dinner tonight.
I used to buy Campbell's condensed soup but can't find it anywhere.
Would cornflour help to thicken a tinned soup?

Sherry has become very expensive; especially if one buys a branded label. However, a Supermarket's own labelled item will have been produced by a recognised producer of sherry and will in most instances be at least 30% cheaper.

Back to your original posting.......I feel the cornflour route is the best because it will give you a smoother sauce than potato thickening and,if mixed with some milk, will give a nice creamy texture.

Bon appetit......Ron.
