I have a large shower head which is great. It's one that you hook over on the riser rail and you can angle it to how you like but I find it's a little bit heavy and it flops down during use and I have to re-angle it, only for it to flop down again. Is there a screw that's hidden in the riser rail bit that I can tighten?

I think we'd need a pic, or a link to where it's sold, Scrummy. Nothing comes to mind :o(
I suspect the answer is yes
have you tried a jubilee clip on the shaft to fatten it up?

This is a similar shower head holder http://www.ebay.co.uk...678f921d#ht_500wt_715
the head hooks in and you can angle it but it keeps drooping down due to the large shower head.
Cath: what's a jubilee clip? Are they easy to get hold of?
Riser rails and clamps are readily available spares, Scrummy. My first thought would be to try and find one with a stronger spring. Failing that, maybe put another one underneath it to help it out. Not terribly pretty, but might be enough.
Some rail sliders that support the dead are fitted with a large platic screw instead of relying on friction (like yours)
Replace the slider on the vertical bar with one of those?
