what is the bay west of Lyme Bay called ? The big one

this is bugging me - it is the big bay with plymouth in it


For about 20 yrs I thought it was Torbay but I found out that that was part of Lyme Bay

erm could be
Lyme bay is 50 miles across Portland Bill to Brixham

and then there is another bay also 50 miles across west of it
or I would say next to it

is the whole of it plymouth sound

any sailors out there ?
going west from Lyme Bay it is
Babbacombe Bay, Start Bay,then past Start Point further west it is
Bigbury Bay and Whitsand Bay
