agree maggie,I just love it!..........
Fantastic photography
Makes me feel cold though! lol
It's beautifully filmed but I just had to turn off from the wolf bison (over)dramatisation. I know it's nature but I don't find it entertaining. I'm still upset about it now.

Understand Prudie - a vegetarian friend once told me "if you can't kill it, don't eat it".
incredible camera work !
As ever, a masterpiece.

Nature at its beautful and brutal best.
I was amazed by it, I love it! Such a fantastic programme!
But Prudie, I don't get how you can call it over dramatisation! It's what happened, there was no dramatisation at all. I know it's a bit horrific but I thought it was one of the best scenes in television ever. The wolf wasn't doing it for a sport, it was to survive and you could see that by the amount of times it was battered and got back up to have another go, I was absolutely blown away by it!
Fantastic programme, the wolf bison scene was a bit strong but that's nature. That brinicle thing was amazing, never new anything like that even existed.
brilliant programme, had to watch the sequence with the wolf and bison through my hands, very gruelling, but so compelling.
this is what the BBC does so well, shame that much else they put out is so poor.
Your vegetarian friend was being unreasonable. If I can't perform an appendectomy does that mean I have to go without were I to need one ? People are no longer brought up to do what it takes to survive as they have a society to allow them to specialise and thus become squeamish about some natural acts. It is ludicrous to insist folk must be able to do something in order to benefit from it. Society would be inefficient if we all had to do everything.

Of and yes, it seems a good series, the few times I've caught it.
Excellent programme with fantastic camera work. However, most of the content being shown has all been done before in The Frozen Planet & The Kingdom Of The Ice Bear! The latter had much better commontry & no annoying soundtrack.

Have I just commited heresy? :-)

You probably have Carrust - all the David Attenborough fans will be after you. Both programmes fantastic though.
I agree that some of it has been seen before, the Penguins for example have almost reached celebrity status they've been on so many shows, but the unseen before footage more than makes up for that imo.
Nordic Wild is pretty good too
