Everybody is bringing some sort of food for the Thanksgiving lunch ... turkey, chowder, corn cake, cranberry bread, succotash, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, or whatever.

My pals have been to dinner at my flat, and suggested that maybe I should just do the cocktails.

I'm not offended. It's probably for the best.
