What a great service.
Posted on the 2nd of November.
Arrived on the 19th.

Tracked postage so was able to watch the journey.
The package took a scenic route :-)

In our old house we used to have a glazed outside door then a porch thing then the proper front door with a letter box. On a number of occasions the post was chucked on the floor inbetween the two doors, when I complained, the post office just couldn't get what my problem was.
Used to moan about Royal Mail til I posted cards from Albania. Posted on 23rd September, arrived in Scotland 18th November. Posting from Scotland to Albania on the other hand usually only takes a week.
The problem here is we're British.

We need to sell the post to DHL or some other foreigner, like every other bit of this country.
I posted my niece's 13th birthday card on 15th Nov for her to have it on 16th. I put a £20 in the card and put the whole thing in a brown envelope and sent it using the 1st class Signed For Service. Yes you've guessed - it didn't and STILL hasn't arrived. Track & trace online just says it was posted at XXXX Post office and is progressing through the system.
Probably got caught in the early Xmas card rush.
venator DHL are rubbish. Couldn't find their arse with both hands. They publish Saturday deliveries but when you book one it doesn't happen.

You may as well throw your package in the canal.
I know, Spikey, they are rubbish, but there was talk about them buying the Royal Mail
im convinced that royal mail deliveries are not delivered each day, but bundled up and when sufficient shoved through the door. As i can't believe that 1st class post takes more than a week to get here. And most times, three/four letters are bundled together, even though totally different postmarks, dates, those you can make out. The only time you get an early post, if there is one, is Saturday.
Em and that's probably so they can finish early and scoot off for the weekend!
