Okay - last 'Daily Mail bashing post of the month...promise.

Have a look at this story:

http://www.dailymail....Love-performance.html

Now, am I being over-sensitive by pointing out that referring to Rihanna's outfit as "Tantalizing in tartan...Rihanna set pulses racing in a naughty school girl get up".

Seriously - how dodgy is that?

Turn it around for a moment - say if Robbie Williams released a track and appeared in the accompanying video dressed a boy scout, there would be an outcry if he were described as "Robbie was dressed as a sexy school boy..."

It's wrong, surely???

the bay city rollers (barely out of their teens) were wont to wear tartan.

sexy?
I didn't think paedophiles were attracted to grown women no matter what they were wearing.
Think you are being over sensitive really,I watched Rhianna last night and noticed the fact she was miming most of her song more that what she was wearing.
The Daily Mail is just playing on the sexual fantasy thing a lot of men have about women in uniforms, just like plenty of women enjoy men in uniforms e.g Firemen.
None of the schools around here had tartan uniforms,I met my wife when were at school together and we had to wear Aston V*lla colours...Couldn't wait for her to take hers off!
She did have "f**k off" printed on the side of her shoes.

That wasn't very schoolgirlish.
Hugh Grant is now alleging phone hacking at the Mail (actually the MoS), so there may still be time for more Mail-bashing this month.

As I recall there was an inquiry about it at the Mail which went roughly:

Owner: "Have you been hacking phones?"
Editor: "No."
Owner: "Oh, okay then."
It may have gone ...

Owner: "Have you been hacking phones?"
Editor: "I don't know. I don't read memos. Or emails. Or text messages. Except other people's. Oops, sorry, ignore that last bit."
Owner: "Oh, okay then."
If it was Mr Dacre it would have been:

Owner: "Have you been hacking phones?"
Editor: "I don't ****ing know, you ****. I don't read ****ing memos. Or ****ing emails. Or text ****ing messages. Except other ****ing people's. Oops, sorry, ****ing ignore that last bit, you ****."
Owner: "Oh, okay then."
I notice a deafening silence from AOG - which is usual when he feels he is not winning an argument.

Hardly in the spirit of debate - but I'll probably get accused of being 'pompous' again - Mr Pot, may I introduce Mr Kettle ...
No Andy....he will accuse you of resorting to insults...whereas his posts are purely in defence.

That's how it usually works...
