----- Well folks I'm back but Just. I went to see my surgeon for my 6 week check-up on the 16th Nov. He found I had an irregular heartbeat and said he was addmitting me so there and then I was back in the Cardiac Care Unit.
My heart rate was 144. it should have been half that he said I was a poorly lady. They hooked me up to a heart monitor, oxygen, put me on an Insulin pump. During the night I flat lined for 5 secs. when I opened my eyes I thought I was in a scene from ER.
Next day I was back in the op theatre having a Cardioversion (3 electric shocks to the heart) this was supposed to have put things right. "Didn't work" other precedures were talked about but all considered too risky. I've been put on a shed load of drugs now. I've been put on 'Warfarin' & the thought of it scares me half to death. They monitered me for another 5 days and now have discharged me with an appt to see me in a month.
I now have to struggle with this drug regime it seems for the rest of my life. I have still been left breathless which is distressing. I have to exercise more and lose some weight they tell me.
In between all this I'm supposed to have a life.

I hope this explains my absence to you.
