Absolutely stunning photography. Breath-taking piece of television.

Loved the last 10 -15 minutes especially. Roll on next week.

Best yet for taking photo`s of some of the pictures with my camera and printing them off for Xamas cards......different!
It was absolutely amazing wasn't it? It's incredible what they have to do to get those pictures. Really looking forward to next week too
Absolutely breathtaking.Unbelievable that there is so much beauty and the risks they take to get these pictures.
arse! i missed it, will have to get it on catch up!
For anyone that missed it is repeated on Sunday after the Grand Prix at 4 10 pm
Thanks for that wendilla, I will watch it again then, too good not to see twice!!
Its on Iplayer now, of course.
The best thing on tv in a long time. I was glued to it, absolutely fantastic. Cant wait for next episode.
Excellent first episode, hopefully the others will be of the same quality. I was not aware of the practice of creating a wave to wash a seal of an ice floe, as practiced by Orcas, so I was absolutely fascinated... and the quality of the film was outstanding.....

The stop motion photography of inexorable an unstoppable glacial progression was mind blowing too......
cheers wendilla i hope to be home by then
Would have watched it but daren't in case there were any "cruel" scenes.... I know its nature and survival of the fittest etc but I can't watch any kills!!
I feel like that too ann86, I always close my eyes when animals kill some poor creature but I know they have to eat, as do we!
I really admire David Attenborough he is so good for his age. Apparently he went to both the North AND South Poles within 2 months .............
I watched this on Catch Up yesterday and it was brilliant.
