I agree with the major criticism here of belief. If your intense search, reasoning, striving results in finding God, that is not acceptable. But if otherwise, that is okay. If reason can say 'Nay' it can say 'Yea'. I am certain I suffered more in converting than most of the people here have in keeping their cherished unbelief. I have learned that there is no convincing people if they don't want to be. Not my intelligence, education, searching, or anything suffices to them What convinced me is not acceptable if it doesn't convince them, yet I can't apply that same 'reasoning' to them.
