What is the "big deal" in emailing and texting in capitals?

One cannot hear one's communicator and who first suggested that it indicated shouting?

Much ado about nothing.

You need to cut & paste into a text editor that can change it all in one swoop.

Yes it is obviously there to attract attention so as the equivalent of shouting it's a fair description.
It's just another sign of sloppy standards. LOL
It is the online equivalent of shouting. As we can not hear each other online then that is the only way we have of shouting.

HOPE THIS HELPS!
CAPITALS, lower case, speelling mishtakes, bad; punctuation.....

Who cares?
Capitals read louder....
Only you do JL (seeing that you have taken to time to reply)
As I've mentioned before I did not realise when I joined AB that capital letters denoted shouting and I would love to change my name to lower case but don't know how. I did ask the Ed if there was some way of changing my name of bakers dozen last time this came up and I got an e-mail saying my enquiry would be passed on to the team and I would receive a reply shortly. That was on 9th May. They must be very busy.
You can't BD....the only way is re-registering.
How do I do that please? Can I keep the same name?
