Why do people say 'I should of.' I could of,' I would of.' instead of 'I should have' etc. Why do people say 'I am loving this.' instead of 'I love this' Do abers think this is important?

oops I meant 3rd world County! :-)
I don`t know though. Much as I moan about it, I will end my days in Devon. There`s no place like home is there?
very true
And as a further point, I was talking to my oldest friend (who I have known for most of my life) and we were talking about what our parents have done for us. We both agreed that the best thing our parents ever did for us was bring us up in North Devon where we had such an idyllic childhood. Such is life :-)
I was lucky in that respect too - fields and woods for miles around to roam
free in .Now a sizeable chunk of those fields are lost to the kids of today
gobbled up by greedy developers, and now crammed with little boxy houses
....and worse bloody golf courses grrr!!
> was you going out with her?"instead of" were you",they really don't know their tenses!

Neither do you, it seems... "was" and "were" are actually the same tense...
Yes, I know what you mean. My old village has been taken over by a massive windfarm. They want to plonk a windfarm in the sea (off Saunton Beach) and it`s going to encroach on the Lundy area (which is a marine reserve)
Windfarms!hmmm!
Wildlife is sure to suffer - Golf courses killed off ours - no more newts
and frogspawn in the ponds - insect life largely gone :-(
