Hi all,
I would greatly appreciate if you could click on the above link and do my survey. It's for my final year Psychology research and I'm trying to find out if morning types are more conscientious than evening or intermediate types. Really did try but sorry gave up half way through - I've no idea what my sleep style was as a child or teenager nor do I know my brother's or father's. No point in doing a survey like this if you're not going to collect valid results. Sorry ciara

Sorry Ciaraciara, but I was immediately put off by the questions asking my height in centimetres and weight in kilos I'm afraid. I was brought up in Britain using British measurements which have served us superbly since the Romans brought them here. I know my height in feet and inches and weight in stones and pounds - but as for foreign measurements dictated to us from Europe - sorry I don't know. Also, we fought the last war not to have a foreign language imposed on us from Europe.

I've done it, after converting feet and inches and lb's and kilos (can't you put a converter on there). I'd be interested to know what you results are if you can let us know.

I've done your survey and it didn't take too long but I agree with other people that you should have a N/A option for some questions.

It would have been better to have mixed up the later questions with the 'Agree Strongly' to 'Disagree Strongly' answers. A number of times I answered several questons in a row by checking the fourth button from the left and it looks as if I had got fed up and was just checking buttons without reading the questions.

I can understand that you were asking basically the same question more than once to check responses but that made it seem boring and definitely reduced my interest and I could not guarantee that this did not reduce the attention I gave to subsequent questions.

I'd also like to know the results of your survey.

Amazingly, I missed a bit out of my previous posting! The preamble to your survey invited feedback but there was no space on the form to give that feedback and I think there should have been.

It would also have been useful to have given a contact email address for people to ask any questions they wanted to about the survey.

Thanks a million to all who did the survey for me so far, it's a great help! I'll post up the results once I have all of my participants in and the data analysed. I'm just looking to find the connections if any between personality type and chronotype (whether you're a morning person or an evening person) and how successful/ happy/ healthy you are. I'll then hopefully be publishing a psychological journal on my findings. So you'll all feel very famous :)
