I rather indulged last evening with a gift of Maltesers, and my mmol/L shot up to 13.7, and this morning is 7.3. I will be on a sugar-free diet to-day, although I have just eaten three Rich Tea biscuits. When does it become dangerous and likely to cause concern?

Sorry, that should be in Body & Soul.
Well.......good morning matey.

13.7 milimoles.....not good but not dangerous. About 15milimoles is the highest that you can go...over that you start to burn fat and muscle and get into a condition called ketoacidosis.....not the end of the world, but....... going on that way;-)
