Why hasn't man been back to the moon if it's so easy to go into space?

What for? Wheres the need to go to the moon? USA have been there, Russia doesnt want to go there and no other country is developed enough to go there. China would be the next logical country to do it and i think it won't be long. Also we get all the information about the moon we need without actually going. Having said that i would love to go!
