Watched last night - still trying to get used to John Barnaby, I do miss John Nettles - does anyone else think that the Sergeant Jones character is getting more stupid? He wasn't like that when he was with Tom. Quite like the new doctor, hope she's not meant for Jones he'll never be brainy enough!

Yeah - nice to see Midsomer back on the screen again! I agree about Sgt. Jones being suddenly portrayed as " stupid" and "bolshy" to his boss- he was never like that before! Neil Dudgeon is quietly taking over from John Nettles, who was a very big character for him to replace.
