to allow ringtones for mobile phones when they could've used the silent vibration-only method? Probably the same nursery school reject who allowed solicitors to start advertising. All these no-win-no-fee ads are really getting on my ****.

I'd like to genuinely apologise for my behaviour and for the tone of my posting yesterday. For a period of time I became the type of contributor I personally detest, where usually there's no greater pleasure on here than to indulge in light-hearted banter and extremely mild insults (where it's abundantly clear it's tongue-in-cheek).

The problem is that at the time the I didn't think anything of it; it's only now with the benefit of hindsight and of re-reading that I realise how obnoxious I was being. This being the case I won't be posting anything more on this site. My shame is so great that I daren't run the risk of it happening again.

Although this is a general apology I'd like to apologise personally to B00 and anneasquith for my conduct. I can usually tell when someone's serious and when they're not but yesterday I missed the boat completely and I'm very sorry indeed.
i certainly do not require an apology from you LP, and im sorry the issue has upset you.
im glad you can see that Lew...and are decent enough to apologise...

theres no need to leave though...its easy to go off on one and become irrational and obnoxious etc when you've had a bad day...you did nothing an apology wont fix...
