Well what a day!! Kittens coming out of our ears. Nowhere to put them hanging them from ceilings!! For gods sake get your cats nuetered!!!!!!!!!!!
Did rehome the famous Alfie who is wobbly on his feet due to his ongoing problem but we are paying for his treatment for the rest of his life. Lovely couple took him who didn't want just an ordinary cat/kitten & wanted a challenge. Also reserved 2 kittens & rehomed 2 so not a bad day after a terrible week!
I've been speaking to our cat rescue people today, we are still looking for our Rover - we keep getting sightings, but they are not him - so far. We keep looking!
It's always lovely to hear that an older cat, particularly one with problems, has been re-homed. Agree about the neutering, it's sad when people just don't bother.
I really don't understand why people don't get their cats neutered. There is no good reason not to do so.
That Russian woman must be nuts. My two fight and bicker most of the day and it is sometimes like a war zone - and they are siblings. I would hate to see a fight kick off in her house. But I thought the cats sitting on the little plastic seats were cute.
That link reminded me of when I was in Gran Canaria. I had left over chicken and thought I would feed the strays. Big mistake, I was suddenly surrounded by about 30 cats. Never again.
micmak - I am surprised that you got out of that alive.
I am always amazed with the people who bring an island full of stray cats back to this country to adopt them. There are cats just crying out for a home in this country.
My two are upstairs and are suspiciously quiet - never a good sign.
As soon as any animal becomes part of my family, the first thing that gets done is neutered, be they male or female. It is so irresponsible to let your cat keep having kittens, as cute as they may be. Kat1 you are doing a fantastic job finding new homes for all these cats. I have three cats, all rescue ones.
Mine are both rescue cats. Robbie is too shy to say boo to a goose, whereas Campbell (pictured on the avatar)is a law unto herself and I found her in the local pub car park the other day...
