"I can say whatever I like on this thread. "

and thats all you could come up with .... ??
That was just to give everyone a little advance notice, ankou.......before I hit my stride......

Banter between friends is a good thing as long as it remains friendly.

By the way it should be "ask" ;-)

"Is It Possible to as a question without getting sarcasms, inappropriate answers? "

Yes, post in the correct section, give as much information as possible, be polite and articulate.

"There seems to be a lot on the site lately! why?"

Inside ChatterBank you can expect some silliness. In serious sections however you should be able to be free of it. If you find something you don't think is in-keeping with the seriousness of the section, please report it and it will be dealt with. If it has been cropping up, but you've not been reporting it, how can we be expect to help?
Ed....did you get my email...??
Ed...I feel that you are confusing two separate attitudes..... silliness is quite different from intentional, confrontational sarcasm which is prevalent in CB and also other threads.

Some, including myself, consider that reporting unnecessary sarcasm is akin to "running to and telling teacher.".

Nothing that you can do do about it even if it is reported........in my experience.

So, we just live with it..............no big deal.

Ed, if you get the chance, look for a site called ASK YOUR NEIGHBOUR, the site was a good site until the smart @rses started to give people some stick, the site was loosing members one after another, don't let this site follow.I have seen the spelling correction brigade, the straw pickers etc, them are the ones that will destroy this site, I have read a reply from a member, report the poster, I could not be bothered, after all it takes small minded people to respond like that as Squad has near enough said, Ignore them & she's right.
