is Poundland too good to be true, everything for a pound, today I bought some Liquorice sweets for one pound the same bag were in Holland and Barrett for £2.50 have you had any bargains!

24xOxo cubes. 2xBachelors Cup-a-soup. Fray Bentos tinned pies. 1½Kg Tate & Lyle granulated sugar...and a browse around usually reveals other goodies that'll cost you more in any supermarket. Well worth a casual visit.

I've got some really good bargains from Pound Land and 99p Shop, except for the pop socks which had two tops and no toes and the slipper socks that didn't stretch like the ones I got the first time, but looked exactly identical. So it's worth taking a closer look before you just pick the items up and get on the long queue.
