I just do not believe it, have they been told to take a softly, softly stance over these disgusting riots, in case they antagonise "The Community"?

It would seem that it is perfectly easy to commit such crimes in these areas, I wonder if the police would have noticed if a Bank had been held up?

Full marks to the coloured lady. I don't blame her for using four lettered words. She was speaking her mind in a manner which made sense to me.

I would like to see the Police bring in Water Cannons, Use Rubber Bullets, CS Gas, Tazer Guns etc. and be assisted by the Military to bring law and order to all areas in which riots are taking place....Whether it's London or any other areas of the UK. If thing get worse it will be too late to do anything and our country will be destroyed by mindless people.

My ex-husband is black and he doesn't find being called coloured rascist at all. There are far worse things in this world to be called. Guess he must be the 1%.

Em yes possibly as this term was used a long time ago, the other one that many mixed race people hate is "Half caste" which again was used a long time ago and is still used by a few today.

I know first hand the problems encountered by some black people in Britain way back when, as my bloke was from the West Indies, and the police didn't treat him or his friends particularly kindly, it was a long time ago now i admit, one would hope that some things have changed?
