Strange that as both my apple trees which didn't produce anything the last two years are laden this year. Could there have been a frost at the time of blossom?
Wants a good prune, fertilize well and all should be ok in a couple of years time.

There may have been a frost but I can't remember but ther must have been frosts other years. Razza, I'll try that and see what happens, thanks
Mine did that a couple of years ago but did not recover. Got round to having it taken down a week or so ago and it was riddled with honey fungus according to the tree feller.

What does honey fungus look like? Can it spread to my other trees, pear, cherry, and plum?
You can only identify honey fungus when it's too late! It looks like bootlaces amongst the rotting roots.Apparently it can invade a tree through a wound or scar.
is tree looking good and heathly?
Question Author
The tree looks fine but maybe a bit overcrowded. There is also a little white stuff coming from between the bark and wood where branches have been pruned in the past.
Can't, if you don't foster good ah. Every year there are flowers?
Question Author
Screien, what's ah? There are flowers and fruit every year til now. I have just spotted a cluster of 5 apples so not totally without fruit
