Last week I had a phone call telling me that I was eligible for a free Vodophone I said no thank you I dont want another phone quite happy with the one I have, they were persistant and I said "what part of no dont you understand" made it quite clear my answer was no thank you.
Today I have an e mail from Vodophone thanking me for my order no W000006549 PAY AS YOU GO SIM and it is in the post !
If they knock at my door with it I can refuse to accept but usually they just leave in the porch and dont bother to knock.
What should I do, is there an e mail address I can contact them or what or as its free should I just accept and put in the drawer , I dont want any unexpected bills at a later date for something I have definately not ordered and dont want.

Its just a Sim card by the sounds of it not a phone, just put it in your drawer and forget about it, it may be useful to someone one day. Vodaphone is a network, not a telephone.

thank you for puttimg my mind at rest Ratter.
My advise Dee, if it's delivered & left in your Porch that's not your problem, if it's stolen that's not your problem as it should have been signed for, I would Email the seller & state this, if its left,it's left at the sellers expense.

the thing is TWR that the message came in an email today with one of those "no reply" addresses, thats what worried me that I could not reply to them.
How did vodaphone get your email?
How did Vodaphone get your address.

As Ratter says its just a pay as you go SIM card - sent to you in the hope you will use it. Nothing sinsiter (as such) nothing to pay.
As I understand the law, if somebody delivers unsolicited goods to you, you keep them for 6 mths, if they don't ask for them back in that time, they're yours to keep.
If you re-read the post it states Vodafone, & yes, it does say SIM, knowing Vodafone it will be the package, Dee, you can get vodafone address via Google, find it & email them saying the order has not been ordered by you & will be dumped simple. x

I think they got my details because I stupidly entered a competition for an I Pad, yesterday they phoned and said congrats you are half way to winning the I Pad to which I replied I no longer want one pls remove my name and dont call again, the caller seemed taken aback so I repeated myself and they hung up. Moral being dont enter any more silly comps !
In this world Dee, there is nothing for nothing, these bull sht calls you have won! how the hell can you win something when you have not entered any bloody competitions?
In your shoes I think I'd get the Vodafone e-mail address from their site and inform them you have ordered no such thing. At least then they know.

As it is a PAYG SIM I don't see how you would get bills, but best make it clear from the start anyway.
