Can you freeze uncooked, pre-prepared vegetables (bought them when the weather was rubbish but don't reckon anyone will fancy a cooked dinner now the weather is so warm). Thanks.

although my nephew did say his mummy redcrx sometimes does egg and chips for breakfast
only on weekdays! :)

he will eat veg, green beans, carrots and corn on cob are his faves.
Oh!........forget, would love someone to give me egg and chips for breakfast!........what a treat!......
Veg can be eaten raw you know. So grate it all up and mix with mayonaise. You've now got a version of coleslaw.
An idea for cougettes and carrots - using a speed peeler make the veg into ribbons and a little vinagette.
Chop up cooked, cold veg and mix with cooked rice or couscous. season well.
There you go - three ideas for using veg for cold meals.
Any veg can be used.
