too many sleeping tablets

My father in-law to be takes 2 sleeping tablets per night and sleeps most of the day as affects of tablets are still in system. My OH wants him to reduce the dose to 1 - but father does NOT listen and...

My father in-law fell last week.

Doc says cracked or broken rib. But did not send him for an xray! Surely 1 should be done to make sure its a clean brake....

How to clean the tongue

My mother inlaw is in hospital after having a stroke. All of left side is paralised and she can't eat, drink or speak. The nurses are able to clean the front of her teeth but she clamps her teeth...

Stroke caused by Artrial Fibrillation

2 days ago an elderly relative (81) with AF had a stroke. All of left side is paralised. Is it possible that she will recover completely or do we have to prepare ourselves for the worse?

Do any diabetics in AB land have tattoos? If so have you had any problems with them? My OH wants one on the top of his arm - but has been told that there could be problems with sugar levels dropping...

Noctornal epilepsy and human insulin.

My boyfriend age 43 has type 1 diabetes. A number of years ago he was put on human insulin. He had bad reactions to it - so now has extreme fatigue, sickness and MOST of all it caused night time...
