I have a dozen or so facebook 'friends' who are all Americans (all Garth fans too BTW)
There are some very very interesting and emotional points of view on there today, it makes fascinating reading, however, one of them has changed her Avatar to a picture of the blood dripping head of Osama Bin Laden being held up in the hand of the statue of liberty in place of the torch. (it is on Google Images BTW if you have the urge to go look)
I always looked on these women as very down home ordinary housewives with a huge crush on Garth just like me, but they are today showing a very very powerful side to their lives, their patriotism, I think that is what it is.

Zebadee, there are plenty of Muslim shrines. I've been to the Ayatollah Khomeini's tomb, and so have an awful lot of other people. Google marabout, for instance. They may or may not be 'official' shrines (I don't think Christians do shrines any more either, do they?) but people go to them anyway, and there's no reason they wouldn't have flocked to Bin Laden's last resting place.

Naming individuals on open forums is against MOD Regulations and although I am now Ex Forces I am still covered by the official secrets act and can still be charged under military law according to Queens Regulations (The book of military law)

Due to my Trade i have been attached to various regiments and have been posted to the likes of Hameln, Germany; Gutersloh, Germany; Tidworth, Colchester, Catterick, Colerne but I managed to avoid serving in Northern Ireland throughout my career.
