I have relatives coming over on Good Friday and there will be 8 of us eating (no young children).
Can anyone suggest something I can make (main course & pudding) The only thing I can think of is a roast!

Whatever you have on Good Friday, catholic or otherwise, to traditionalists meat is an absolute NO-NO. I suggest fish. I was brought up on tinned salmon on a Good Friday, somewhat anomalous as it was a luxury to be eaten on the most solemn day of the year.
