are eccles cakes only sold in regional supermarkets? cant say ive seen them but not looked. was talking about them yesterday as i just fancied one, got to find them now!

They're all over the place here, they've got them in Tesco and Morrisons.

Don't know which region you are in but they have them in most supermarkets down here in the south.
Marks and Sparks have lovely Eccles Cakes - and I am in Scotland.
Waitrose and Tesco sell them.
All our local bakeries sell them
Whittakers fish bar in Eccles have started selling deep fried eccles cakes,whatever next.
Urgh!
deep fried pizza is available at our local chip shop.
double urgh!
Cakes nextqueen, near the muffins etc.
The Co-op has them.
I used to like the odd Eccles cake, but years ago, I was enjoying one in my lunch break at work & broke a double back tooth on a stone in the fruit. It cost me £75 on a gold crown way back then, so I wasn't so keen on them after that!
