slow cooker

has any1 got any receipes for a slow cooker, would it cook a joint of meat (beef or lamb)
could i do a ham shank in it?

Don't know about a ham shank but I do a leg of lamb in mine. I cut up four onions and stand the leg on the onions, without adding any liquid. It always comes out delicious.
