Fancy trying something different this weekend, bored of either a korma or korai (my usuals) but I don't know what to go for. Biryani - poss too dry? Jalfrezi - too hot for my taste? Suggestions please!

Anne - lucky to get a shower - spot on, didnt realise doing the basics would prove so difficult and are now considered luxuries lol
Jb - make the most off it, my youngest are three next week and I am starting to feel redundant! Enjoy your curry though, you have made me feel really hungry.

How hot is Kashmiri redhelen? On a scale of 1 to 10, korma being 1!!
I love biryani though find it differs a lot from place to place. I like it quite dry (without the curry sauce).

I love the lamb and spinach dish too - saag ghoht or something similar? I can't eat toomuch of it though as it's quite rich. Like korma and bhuna too.

I have to have loads of poppadoms and if a special treat will go for lamb chops for a starter.
Chicken tikka sagwala- delicious!
Chicken Bhuna is nice, I usually have that If I'm lucky enough to go out for one. A prawn paratha to start with as well. Now I'm in the mood for one.
bagalore isn't hot. it's a korma with banana.
Do you like bits in? Chunky onions and stuff? If so I'd go a dupiaza.
If you like just lots of lovely sauce, i'd go passanda or butter chicken.
Congratulations Jb! All the best to Baby and Mother. ♥
Are you breast-feeding? Be careful of eating hot or spicy foods, curries could be hot too and it could cause the baby to have gripe pains. You may not find it hot but it might affect the baby. Again, i.e. if you are breast-feeding.

No she's bottle fed now so I'll have a bit of spice and may even indulge in a glass of wine

Getting closer to takeaway time, but no closer to a decision of what I'm gonna have (over thinking this choice!)
How hot is bhuna?
bhuna`s lovely. It`s medium. If you have chicken tikka bhuna the chicken has been tandooried first which adds an extra touch. Jeera (cumin) chicken is very nice as well.
