pinki -glad im not alone -face is stinging a bit but I can live with it as I know in a day or so it'll be clear.Im kinda hiberbating as well the end result is well worth it.
pasta -im basically doing much the same as you but probably im lmiting myself to more veg and fruit at the moment.Well done you though -thats a good weight loss and sustainable x
Naz -does seem arse for elbow doesnt it? O btw lol @ muldoon -combine that with Clarence off Daktari and we have Man-On-The-Top-Of-The-Clapham-Omnibus -aka Clarence Muldoon :))
sounds like Dris is our AB zit queen - watch out mirrors of the UK.

Congrats though Dris - I have cut seriously back on the booze and shed over 10 pounds so far this year. Jan was totally dry and I am only having ethanol when I go out. Side effects on dieting for me are headaches, especially in the morning, and peeing a lot......and not with laughter.

lol DT -would be even better if they came to a head but they just disappear (o I can be so gross when it comes to spots :))

Hey well done you that also is a sustainable weight loss.Dropping the alcohol is key although as I said a I had a couple of 'ethanol' types at the weekend but it seemed a waste of time -I shall probably indulge when H is home at the weekend but im not fussed at the moment.
Haha at the peeeing a lot.....for once im glad when the cat is scraping to get out during the night -we seem to want to go at the same times lol Had a couple of headaches in the fisrt couple of days but I didnt out it down to the diet but on reflection it likely was.Feel so much better mentally and my energy levels are starting build up and that was something which was sadly lacking before.
though in the short term not good for the weight owing to muscle build, some exercise will help too Dris....don't know if you are doing that.....good for the energy levels through the day.
and by the way, no more than 2 to 3lbs a week loss; above that is too aggressive and you can pay. I had started a diet four years ago and the ex suddently (truly out of the blue) served papers on me. The stress at that point, coupled with a virus, poured the weight off me some 20 pounds plus in a month. Once we had a pre-agreement as this was the USA, she suggested I went to the quack and he treated me for the remnants of the virus and the stress. However, eighteen months ago, I ended up having to have a gall bladder ripped out - one of the most common causes of this nice joy is rapid weight loss. It is more common in women than in men - and perhaps one indicator of respective pain levels as the attacks were excrutiating -and women who have had both say that gallstone pain is worse.

Yeah ive got a state of the art scarf and handbag hanger in my bedroom -cost £250 ;)
Ive unearthed it and im back cycling 2 x 20min sessions a day...i'll up that to what i was doing prior to my 'time out' over a week or so.Thats roughly 15 miles a day with loads of 'hills' and man when i get off talk about a knee trembler............on second thoughts DONT ;)
<<That means my detox is working >> Don't know about spots, I though detox gave you fat lips.....or is that botox?
My weight fluctuates, depends if I am really in to my training and diet or having a lazy month. My heaviest is 15st, lightest 13st7. I am an even 14st now, doing lots of boxing and playing footy twice a week.
Dris, I am the opposite, my skin/complextion is worse when I am eating rubbish and clears up when I am eating well and excercising, how strange?
An ex GF put me on to "Freederm" face wash - it really works if I break out
I've got a marker pen - can I play Dot to Dot on your face please?

DT -ive had a stressful time lately -wont go into details here -some know.(not with my husband btw for the banned rubberneckers who are nosing in lol) and my gall bladder flared up (again) and thats the reason im now on the detox -it was the only way I could eat.My gall bladder has now settled although several times I was on the point of going to A & E but the spasms /pain passed -just way too much going on and not looking after myself:( Better now im back in control :) Bad craic for you though..shock does awful things to your body:( Glad youre better now x

McMouse lol -did you not read Knobbys post on Sunday -its only my husband who gives me fat lips and im due another one according to him- SAB astard lol

jd -I suspect you probably maintain a healthier lifestyle than me with just the occasional 'falls of the wagon'......im full on when im on and when im off the wagon -no middle ground with me -hence the spots and the respite for my digestive system and my liver :)) The spots will clear up in a day or so -they just hit their peak today.

hahaha -Mrs O -you must read my mind -(please hope she doesnt -its utter filth filth I tell ya) cos thats what i was gonna put on the thread but hell yeah -get the marker out -so long as I end up like the tattoed face man off JK i'll be delighted :)))))
Doctors say detox diets are utter nonsense...peddled by quacks to take money from those who will listen to them. If you are getting spots it is probably an adverse effect of the "detox" treatment...stop it straight away and see a doctor, it could be dangerous.
Try this, there are MANY more. Detox is horlicks (Carol Vorderman got rich, but it seems she'll do anything for money)
