TDci Mondeo 2004 should be a chain. 130ps?
Replacement would be BY 100K at latest by my book.

When I had my Astra, Vauxhall told me the cam belt was guaranteed for 30k miles.

Mine snapped when I was driving at 18k miles on the clock. They more or less had to replace the engine..

There seem to have been some significant advance in cambelt technology since then Ummm. 100-120K seem to be recommended by some now.

Not sure I trust them yet though!
