I am, as always, looking forward to visiting a local pub on Christmas eve where a great deal of my friends who I have not seen for some time will congregate. We'll then proceed to have one quiet one (although I am informed the ones afterwards are not quite as quiet). I wondered what your traditions were for Christmas Eve...

i spend the day finishing off wrapping and making my wonderful speciality cauliflower cheese for xmas dinner. then me + kids pick up OH from pub and go to friends house where santa arrives on sleigh and gives all the children there a pressie. this has been our tradition since the kids were small. not sure they enjoy sitting on santa's knee so much now they are teenagers lol
Am I the only be££ar working all day, then cooking when I get home :-(
i always cook the pork on christmas eve and me and wife have some pork and picklelilli sandwiches and crackling whilst we wrap the remaining pressies.

Dave.
So far only five going to church! That's the preacher, the organist, me and boo.
Who is the 5th mysterious guest?
Well i didnt get to vote for the church option cupid, as it wasn't there when did the poll, so that's two mysterious church goers!
snap dave, I tend to cook the pork and have sarnies n crackling on xmas eve!
I'm working 8-5 Christmas Eve and then going to my daughters for a while and then my sons and then midnight mass and then pick my other son up from work about 1.30am Christmas Day.
Ed, where's the option that says "I'll be dressing up as Santa and creeping up the stairs...."?
I like midnight mass but my family aren't churchgoers.

I'll be travelling back to my parents' Christmas Eve then will be wrapping, usually hidden upstairs with my mum and then we often settle down to watch a film.

Pretty quiet and chilled really.
We will be staying in and relaxing with a glass or six of something nice.
Other, Restaurant.

Happy Christmas Dear Ed, and all AB Members.X
